Review: Pretty Reckless

Pretty Reckless
Pretty Reckless by Jodi Linton

Available March 24, 2014

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved, loved, loved the brassy, sassy Deputy Laney Briggs in Jodi Linton’s debut novel and I can’t wait to read the next book in her series!
When the population of 200 in Pistol Rock keeps dropping along with the citizens, and Laney has to fight off the attentions of two former “friends” as well as keep her fiance unruffled AND solve the murders that keep piling up, you just know that trouble and hijinks will ensue…and maybe a little heartbreak as well.
What could possibly go wrong when the town drunk, the Federal Marshall hottie, the rich entitled rancher’s son and the new vet all vie for Laney’s attention when she just wants to find out who’s leaving bodies all over town? Enough that you’ll laugh…you’ll cry…you’ll be mad as a wet hen…and you’ll root for Laney to win out in the end.
Don’t plan on putting this down once you pick it up. Pretty Reckless is a rollicking good read!

I received an ARC from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
